Lace Mix and Match Suit

I've been falling in love with bright colors lately and what better way to express that by wearing a suit conbo.  This trend is something that a lot of people are not crazy about because it reminds them of those dreadful matching jeans outfit era (YUCK).  I for one I'm crazy about it, BUT THAT's JUST TUTU. Another trend I'm following by wearing this outfit is lace, which I'm not crazy about is lace but I could not pass up this gorgeous conbo because I despise lace.  

What do you guys think of this trend?

Classy Everyday smokey eye

Makeup is not exactly my area but I did take a liking to it. When I use makeup, I don't want it to look too cakey. I want a natural look like most women. The kind of looks I like to go for are the ones that can be worn to almost every occasion. This is one of the reasons why I usually just put on a lipstick with a little foundation and call it a day. This time I decided to get a little creative and break out of my safe shell. I tried to look for a look that POPS but doesn't take away from my face. A wonderful makeup expert helped me develop this look which I call the classy everyday smokey eye.  Ever since then, I find myself wearing this look more and more and so many ladies keep asking me how I achieve this look. Its actually simple, I used only two different colors called carbon and sable.

I am not an expert in the makeup department but with more practice who knows I just might fall in love with it and become one, BUT THAT'S JUST TUTU.

Woke up on the right side of the bed, which did not last too long because I found out I can't go to philly with my friend K for my birthday because I have an exam on MY BDAY! ahhhhh why? No point crying over spilled milk, I'll get over it....EVENTUALLY! 

I decided I wanted to dress really bright today and I'm glad I did because it was the only thing that kept my mood up BUT THAT'S JUST TUTU

Bring me back to life

Evening bloggers and viewers, it has been ages since we last spoke and for that I am deeply sorry. This has been a very busy quarter, probably my busiest since I started undergrad. Hopefully this new quarter will bring me peace of mind and less load of work (crosses fingers).  Unfortunately, my blog was one of the many things that I had to deviate from for a while and I can't say it was easy, BUT I am happy to say I am well rested from spring break and the spring in my step is back.

MOVING ON...

I have been falling madly in love with shorter curls this season, it adds a certain something to my face and I like it, BUT THAT'S JUST TUTU. I stayed up all night installing this wet and wavy and I don't regret it one bit. I curled it with the curling wand because I don't like how wet and wavy looks after wetting it so I decided to treat it like it was straight hair. I'll probably wet it after I suck the life out of this hair.

Bangs, Red and a Happy New Year

First, I would like to say Happy New Years and I hope everyone had a great holiday because I sure did BUT THAT'S JUST TUTU. I have been busy living this thing they called life, please pardon me for briefly abandoning my blog. Not to worry though I am back, charged and ready. This is just a little welcome back preview photo for you guys.

P.S. These braids look even better with bangs, I am so in love with them. They are my go to hair accessory of the season.  

Cloudy Skies

I was playing around with my camera and iPhoto and came up with this. Anyways, Never mind all of that ................. 

My go to accessory is my Bowlers hat and I love it. It comes in handy when my hair looks a little rough on the edges (like now). I pop it on and my secret is hidden for the time being, oh the joy of being a woman I tell you. Even though I wouldn't trade it for the world I will always be a firm believer in females having it harder than males. This conversation has always been a controversy between both genders and I will always say that a day to day upkeep of females is way more expensive than males. It takes so much for us to look the way we 'ought' to look. I mean all men really has to do is get a haircut, put on clean clothes and wear it with some swag. As for us we have so many different sections and those sections have sub sections *SIGH*. Here are a few examples of what some females might use before stepping out the house .....................

I'm not going to say too much about what we wear but when it comes to clothes, I feel like we have more layers to attend to than men. Men can get away with the same boxers for a day or two but it would be unlawful for a female to.

*Sigh*, I'm not going to go in depth with accessories like attending to your nails, bags, jewelry, etc but I'm sure you guys get the point now. One thing I must say is that a day to day upkeep of a male/female varies. I am aware that some females attend to themselves more than others and vice versa for males. I'm also sure some men probably attend to themselves more than some females. Nonetheless, if you ask me Females > Males, BUT THAT'S JUST TUTU.

Androgynous

Have you ever put on your significant other's basketball shorts or shirt, and it made you feel extremely sexy? Well, that is exactly how I feel every time I interpret my own meaning of this trend with my outfits. It makes me feel like nothing less of a rockstar.

 Even though I convinced myself that I'm too much of a girly girl to try something remotely "tomboyish"(whatever that means), I'm drawn to it like a magnet. I find myself embracing this androgynous trend and loving every minute of it. Even though to another female this might still seem a little feminine, I disagree because this is daring to me. I have always tried to stay away from anything that takes away a pinch of my sexy every women is blessed with. What I did discover is that, there is so much more beauty in NOT trying to be sexy, but still achieving it. It makes it effortless and anything that looks natural is worth taking a double look BUT THAT'S JUST TUTU.
